Army Pvt. Justin Michael Bither graduated Basic Training from Fort Knox, Ky. on October 3, 2008, and graduated from Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland on April 21, 2009, specializing in fire control 45 GWF.
Bither is a 2008 graduate of Hodgdon High School.
He is the son of Lisa and Marty, nephew of Lynn Cullins of Houlton, Jerry and Sandy of Presque Isle and Kevin Swimm of Searsport.
Bither is also the grandson of Brenda Swimm of Houlton, Clarence Swimm of Florida, Gail and Wayne Bither and Pam and Earl Richardson, all of Houlton.
He is also a big brother of Gunner and Hanna Bither of Presque Isle.
Pfc. Justin Michael Bither is stationed at Fort Carson, Colo.
