Courtyard Café: Your entrée to fine dining

Loyal customers of the Courtyard Café have discovered the restaurant’s new Garden Bar and love it. The new space is an inviting spot to relax with friends for hors d’oeuvres or a full-course meal.
“It’s really gratifying to look out and see folks laughing, talking and enjoying themselves at the new bar,” says owner Joyce Transue.
Great food, a friendly atmosphere and top-notch service are Courtyard Café hallmarks. The rich, warm cranberry, green and gold hues in the main restaurant continue into the bar area with its restored hardwood floors and comfortable bar stools. Joyce’s husband, Henry, built and hand finished the bar from black spruce wood.
The décor extends into the newly refurbished Event Room — perfect for weddings, reunions and business gatherings. Original art delights the eye and mouthwatering food satisfies the palate, in every room. Reservations are a must for live jazz evenings.
Joyce’s flair for atmosphere is only outdone by her culinary artistry. Upon customer request, her famously popular salad dressings are for sale.
Established menu favorites like creamy herbed tomato soup, homemade wontons, bourbon glazed salmon and aged angus rib eye steaks complement her exquisite daily specials, always using the freshest food in season.
“Don’t forget my Wednesday night gourmet pizza fest,” says Joyce who makes homemade crust for favorite toppings.
For lunch, dinner, or that special occasion, the Courtyard Café is the place to be.
