Great service at great prices

    HOULTON – The staff at Houlton Power Sports promises “Great service at great prices” and they have lived up to that for the last decade.
    “It’s that simple,” said Ben Adams, general manager. “We treat every customer with respect and courtesy, whether they are a repeat customer or in our shop for the first time. Those considerations have allowed us to create such a large customer base.”
    In 2008, Houlton Power Sports became Maine’s largest Arctic Cat dealer, winning the Arctic Cat Platinum Dealer of the Year award, placing 15th in the country.
    “It takes a lot of work to achieve this award,” said Adams. “It’s based primarily on our retail sales, but customer service factors also play a large role.”
    Last year, the business was Maine’s largest retaining dealer by retailing more than 200 new Arctic Cat snowmobiles, ranking second in New England and 15th in the nation.
    “This is an achievement I am very proud of,” Adams said. “We were able to surpass dealers who have been in business many more years than we have and are located in much more populated areas.”
    Houlton Power Sports has recently added Snapper and Ferris lawn equipment to their business, as well.
    “I’m excited to see where this line will take us,” said Adams. “Both Snapper and Ferris are proving to be a great addition to our line with some of the best quality products in the market.  I will be excited to see this side of the business continue to grow over the next few years.”
    Houlton Power Sports’ variety of inventory includes travel trailers, fifth wheels, Suzuki and Arctic Cat ATVs, Suzuki motorcycles and Arctic Cat snowmobiles and now Snapper and Ferris lawn equipment. They also service their products.
    “I can honestly say, we have one of the best service shops in the business,” said Adams. “We have customers coming from all over New England to have their products repaired by our technicians.”
