    With locations in Patten and Presque Isle, Calculations provides services such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, truck licensing and reporting, and income tax preparation and planning.
    Mellissa McAvoy Edwards, MAFM, MBA, owns the company. While she has a hand in every aspect of the business, she focuses on tax preparation/planning and business consulting. Rachel Shorey Campbell is the resident payroll expert and spends most of her time doing payrolls or bookkeeping. Sandy McNally is the most recent addition to the Patten team. She focuses on truck licensing and reporting.
    In 2008, Edwards added a second office in Presque Isle, which is staffed by Randy Holmes, E.A.  Before joining the Calculations team, Holmes spent 28 years working as an IRS revenue agent specializing in collections. As such, he handles most of the collections cases that come through the office.
    Some people like to hire someone to do all of their record keeping (budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, as well as the actual bookkeeping and tax preperation), while others prefer to keep a little more control. No matter what level of service you are looking for, Calculations can put together a package for you.
