County Open half marathon, relay and golf tournament-Winners of golf tourney

    The County Open Golf Tournament was held last weekend at Houlton Community Country Club in New Limerick and VaJoWa Golf Club in Island Falls.

   The winners are as follows:
    A Division:
    Longest Drive, Porter Gervais and Most Accurate Drive, Ian Gervais of Houlton.
    Longest Drive, Evan McCarthy and Most Accurate Drive, Josh McGuire of VaJoWa.
    Gross winners were: first, Scot Walker; second, Ralph Michaud; third, Jerry York; fourth, Phil Soule; fifth, Dave Dubois and sixth, Lance Lancaster. Net winners, first, Ian Gervais; second, Josh McGuire; third, Porter Gervais; fourth, Aaron Flannery; fifth, Evan McCarthy and sixth, Mike Fleming.
    B Division:
    Longest Drive, Nick Chase and Most Accurate Drive, Sean Dolomont of Houlton.
    Longest Drive, Barrett Potter and Most Accurate Drive, Bob Whalen of VaJoWa.
    Gross winners were: first, Bob Whalen; second, Joey Clukey; third, Kent Waite; fourth, Dan Peabody; fifth, Sean Dolomont and sixth, Austin Lancaster. Net, first, Dave Edgar; second, Nick Chase; third, Mike Fogarty; fourth, Jim Taylor; fifth, Todd Peabody and sixth, Dan Tracy.

C Division:

    Gross winners were, first, Brandon Robinson; second, Logan Holmes and third, Greg Fitzgerald. Net, first, Tom Moakler; second, Tim Thompson and third, Matt Quint.
D Division:
    Longest Drive and Most Accurate Drive, Pete Quint of VaJoWa.
    Gross winners were, first, Francis Cyr; second, Matt Carroll and third, Ted Pettengill. Net, first, Danny Williams; second, Peter Quint and third, Ethan Quint.
Women’s Division:
    Longest Drive, Misty Marino and Most Accurate Drive, Lori Holmes.
    Gross winners were, first, Linda Holmes; second, Ursula Johnson and third, Misty Marino. Net, first, Nancy Thompson; second, Jean Townsend and third, Sara Howland.
CONCENTRATES – Gary Stewart concentrates on sinking his putt during last Saturday’s County Open Golf Tournament. The two-day golfing event was held at Houlton Community Country Club and VaJoWa Golf Club in Island Falls. Proceeds benefit Health Services Foundation.
