The nation’s vital heritage, brought alive through paintings, sculpture, architecture, fine crafts and photography provide an opportunity to learn about the nation’s history and culture, enhancing the teaching and understanding of America’s past.
Library director, Linda Faucher, “believes this circulating collection offers a unique teaching experience by presenting a visual window to America’s past through the themes of leadership, freedom, equality, democracy, courage, landscapes, creativity and ingenuity.” Board member, Iva Sussman, supports the concept that “art gives us a deeper understanding of our nation’s history, culture and the shared human experience.”
