Plans are under way for the Island Falls Summerfest, with several activities being planned for the event.
Some events being planned are: Area businesses holding Customer Appreciation Day, plant/book swap, breakfast, tag sales, alumni banquet, games, Petting Zoo, auction, Farmers’ Market, Bingo, Moonlight Golf, bake sales, horseshoes, canoe/kayak race, Barber Shoppers, variety show, Kiddie Parade, Pet Show, MS Pageant, foul shooting contest, mud runs and a steak supper.
Anyone interested in helping with events, holding an event or ideas or suggestion, can come to the final planning meeting for the Island Falls Summerfest, 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 16 at the Municipal Building meeting room.
