HOULTON — Fair organizers are telling early birds they can take advantage of money-saving deals if they buy picture passes to the Houlton Agricultural Fair. Officials issued photo passes the first weekend in June and will hold another weekend session Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27.
Photo passes will be processed and issued on that last weekend before the fair at the Exhibit Hall in Community Park, Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ticket buyers can also bring their own headshots from wallet, passport size or other photos.
The four-day admission passes are priced at $23 without ride access (a savings of $17) or $32 for admission plus rides (a savings of $8). And, Fair President Paul Cleary says, ticket buyers can save another $5 if they purchase a ticket to see country singing star and American Idol finalist, Josh Gracin. Reserved seat tickets for his concert Friday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. are priced at $28; but, only $23 with the picture pass.
The fair runs Thursday, July 2-Sunday, July 5 with rides, games of chance, a full blown midway and all the familiar carnival and fair foods people have come to expect.
