CRYSTAL – Jerry Russell, 67, died May 17, 2009, in Bangor. He was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Island Falls, the son of Zadoc and Eva (Paradis) Russell.
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening and building things out of wood. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet (Sirois) Russell of Crystal; two children, Danny and Alice Russell of Island Falls, and Kerri Plourde of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Rena and Tommy Russell, and Kara and Hana Plourde; two sisters, Regina McNally and Frances Paradis, both of Island Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Daniel.
    Graveside funeral services were held 9 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. Agnes Cemetery, Island Falls, with Deacon Albert Burleigh officiating.
