HOULTON — A family event Friday, June 5 means street closings on and around Broadway for the first “Touch A Truck” event sponsored by the Houlton Parks & Recreation Department and the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce.
The east side of Broadway will be closed for through traffic and parking from 1-6 p.m. and Broadway will be totally closed for through traffic and parking from 3-6 p.m.
Adults and children will be able to see and touch a variety of trucks and learn how they work. Among the scheduled vehicles are ambulances, fire trucks, pulp trucks, mud trucks, a water truck and police cars.
