Family and friends attended the Island Fall Baptist Church on Sunday morning in honor of Verna MacArthur's (left) dedicated service to her church. Following the service there was an afternoon party in the fellowship hall where guests enjoyed refreshments in honor of MacArthur’s 90th birthday this Tuesday, May 26. Her family from as far away as Syracuse, N.Y. were in attendance, as well as her Katahdin Club sisters.Pictured with her are Joe Clukey, Clara Hathaway and Bobbie Dunfey.
