    STACYVILLE & FORT KENT – Evelyn Dennis, 89, died May 13, 2009, in Houlton. She was born Jan. 9, 1920, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Douset and Elizabeth (Wiles) Voisine.
    Evelyn enjoyed knitting. She is survived by six children, Pauline Kovell of Hersey, Edmond Dennis of York, Carol Ouellette of Patten, Donald Dennis of Chicago, Patrick Dennis of New York and Ronald Dennis of Stacyville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul; and one brother; Edmund.
    Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A memorial Mass will be at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, and will be announced in a later edition of the Bangor Daily News. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery, Fort Kent.
