Input sought on ‘Green Jobs’
Region Two Vocational and SAD 29/70 Adult Education are seeking input on changes in the job market from area contractors, builders, and suppliers. The focus on alternative energy and energy conservation has resulted in new jobs and changes in current jobs (i.e. Green Jobs) that may require new or additional training. Area contractors, builders, and suppliers are invited to stop by the Elm Tree Diner on Thursday morning, May 14, 2009 between 6 and 8 am to give their input on any changes they have experienced in their businesses. Join the Class of 2009
Join the Class of 2009 by completing the General Educational Development (GED) standardized test. The GED credential is accepted by employers and colleges. Over 30 students per year complete this diploma at the Houlton Higher Education Center where the focus is on individualized support from teachers, self-paced progress, and confidentiality. CPR and First Aid Classes Rescheduled
