Junior Olympic skill competition

    The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring the first ever Junior Olympics Skill Competition.
    This special event is set for Wednesday, April 22 at the rec center.
    Boys and girls are divided into three age divisions; 8-9 years, 10-11 years, and 12-13 years. Boys and girls compete separately.
    The age deadline is August 31.    
    The three events being held are basketball, tennis, and track and field. The times for each age group are as follows: Ages 8-9 year olds at 9 a.m.; 10-11 year olds at 10:30 a.m. and 12-13 year olds at noon.
