Suitter, Barbara E., 64, December 22, 2008.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Houlton.
    Houlton – Barbara E. Suitter, 64, died Dec. 22, 2008, at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1944, at Houlton, the daughter of Eugene A. Sr. and Jean E. (Conlogue) Jewell.
    Barbara was a communicant at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. She volunteered for many years at Houlton Regional Hospital and was a member of the American Legion Post #47 Ladies Auxiliary.
    Barbara is survived by two sons, Lee Suitter and Ernest Suitter, Jr. both of Houlton; one daughter, Nellie Briggs and her husband Roger of Linneus; three grandchidren, Katie, Jacob and Samantha; three brothers, Eugene Jewell, Jr. and his wife Carol, Daniel Jewell and his wife Debbie, Ernest Jewell and his wife Glenna all of Houlton; three sisters, Pamela Clark and her husband Thom of Linneus, Beverly Shannon and her husband Jack of Westfield, Connie Westoff and her husband Mel of Jay; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
    Friends may call Wednesday  11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, until the time of departure to Saint Mary of the Visitation Church where a Mass of Christian will be celebrated 12 noon with Rev. David Raymond celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Barbara E.
