Ross, Donald J., 72, December 19, 2008.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
    Houlton – Donnie Ross, 72, died Dec. 19, 2008, at his residence. He was born March 20, 1936, at Houlton, the son of Kenneth L. and Sarah (Woodworth) Ross.
    Donnie was the owner and operator of Ross’s Market for several years and worked 10 years for A.E. Staley. He was past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and to many of his friends and acquaintances was commonly called the "Mayor of Paddy’s Hollow".
    He is survived by five sons, Donald Ross, Jr. of CO, Daniel Ross of Caribou, Darrell Ross of Brewer, Dana Ross and Darren Ross both of Houlton; one daughter, Jody Sinclair of Brewer; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, Sunday 12 noon until time of the services at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
