A day full of nostalgia is in store for local residents when they arrive at the Court Street Baptist Church in Houlton on Saturday, Nov. 15. Begin your Thanksgiving season at 8 a.m. with an “all you can eat” breakfast. A wonderful old-fashioned breakfast will be served right from Grandma’s pantry. The menu includes: egg dishes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, baked beans and lots of fresh coffee.
After you finish breakfast, you can shop for handmade crafts, or at the “Twice Around” table. There will be food for sale including: homemade jams and jellies, pickles, desserts, breads, rolls, baked beans and potato salad. You can buy your entire meal for Saturday night.
A special Christmas Shoppe will be open just for children to buy gifts for their family and friends.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each and a lucky ticket holder will win $100 worth of groceries. Breakfast will be served from 8 until 10 a.m. The craft sale ends at noon. Breakfast is $5 per person and $2.50 for children under 12.
As members of the American Baptist Women’s statewide mission organization, the proceeds from the fair will be used for the missions here in Houlton and for those missionaries that the First Baptist Church supports in other countries around the globe.
