Sherman back to Augusta

To the editor:
    I was excited and pleased that State Senator Roger Sherman is a candidate for re-election to the Maine Senate.
    My association with Roger started in 1999 when both of us were newly elected members of the Maine House of Representatives. We were both new as to how things got done at that time, but Roger soon adapted to his new surroundings and through his diligence and staying focused on his goals, soon gained the respect and admiration from colleagues, whether they were Republicans or Democrats. This is the kind of experienced State Senator that should be sent back to Augusta, hardworking and able to get the job done.
    Maine and Aroostook County are facing many challenges with regard to business development, retention of jobs and tax reform. These complex issues that affect our daily lives need an experienced State Senator like Roger Sherman, so I urge you to vote for Roger Sherman Senate District 34 on November 4th.
