Rush, Almon H., 80, October 26, 2008.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the Jewell Cemetery.
    Houlton & Monticello – Almon H. Rush, 80, died Oct. 26, 2008, at a local health care facility. He was born Nov. 12, 1927, at Monticello, the son of Eric and Otalee (Harris) Rush.
    Almon served in the US Army in the Quarter Master Corp during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Almon was employed by Aroostook Print Shop for 30+ years. After his retirement, he did several jobs throughout Aroostook County.
    Almon is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Bailey) Rush of Houlton; one son, Terry Rush and his wife SunAe of Fairbanks, AK; three daughters, Patricia Flewelling and her husband Frank, Diana Reece and her husband Berny, Sue Heath and her husband Joel, all of Houlton; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; one brother, Austin Rush of Augusta; three sisters, Norma Webb of Island Falls, Frances Rush of Houlton, Erla Chase of CT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; great-grandson, Benjamin Rush; and a sister, Esma Omicioli.
    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday 1 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson and James Briggs officiating.
