The Hodgdon High School Class of 2009 Project Graduation committee is starting the year of fundraising off by hosting a Bingo Night at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Linneus Sno-Sports.
There will be home baked hot dishes for sale, along with other baked goodies to keep you going through the evening, with all proceeds benefiting Hodgdon Project Graduation.  There will also be a 50/50 drawing during the evening along with a cake raffle with the winner taking home a delicious homemade cake. The cost to play bingo is $1 per card, per game, and you may play as many cards per game as you desire. There will be 22 games played during the evening. You must be 16 years of age or older to play. The winner of each regular game will win half of what was collected for that game and the other half will benefit Project Grad.  There will be a winner-take-all game played along with the jackpot game and the winner of these games will win all that was collected for the respective game.
Project Graduation is not a school-sponsored activity. Project Graduation is sponsored by the parents, community businesses and residents to provide a safe and alcohol free all-night celebration for the senior class and their guests. It is a night packed with a variety of activities for the participating students and each student receives gifts of money and prizes. This event provides a fun and safe supervised environment for the graduating senior’s last social event together before they all part on their individual life journeys.
All parents and/or guardians of the Hodgdon 2009 Senior Class are encouraged to come to the next Project Graduation meeting on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the high school commons as parent volunteers are needed to help with fund-raisers, plan future fundraising events and chaperone the Project Graduation event.
