To the editor:
I was upset when I was reading your County Crossroads this month “Continued success of snowmobile industry depends on hard working club members.” I don’t know where you obtain your information but our club was the starter for a the Maine Snowmobile Association and you didn’t even mention we exist — Sherman-based Molunkus Valley Sno-Drifters Inc., PO Box 323, Sherman, ME 04776.
It would be much appreciated if we could be recognized as well as the others as we are in the county as well as they are. Here are some November events happening at our clubhouse located at 58 North Street in Sherman: Saturday, Nov. 1st — Hunters breakfast 5-8 a.m. and a potluck supper at 5 p.m. with regular meeting at 6 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 15 — Harvest Supper from 4-7 p.m. at the clubhouse; Sunday, Nov. 23 we put Christmas decorations up; Sunday, Nov. 30 — Christmas Parade starts at 3 p.m. at the Sherman Town Office. Anyone wanting to enter a float should contact me for more information at 267-1200. As always, anyone is welcome to join our club.
