The Northern Penobscot Pullers Association will host its final local horsepower show of the season in Ashland at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, and they will have their last points pull for the season at the Cumberland County Fair on Friday, September 26.
All classes of vehicles will be running with pullers from as far away as Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Brunswick. Rumor has it there will even be a woman’s open. These have proven to be some of the most entertaining pulls of the year. The woman drivers show no fear and give it all they have.
There will be a concession stand right on the grounds.
