The Northern Penobscot Pullers found their way to Skowhegan last weekend to put on a show for the Skowhegan Fair. Despite a rainy start, the pulls began on time and the grand stand was packed.
After the National Anthem was played the air was filled with the roar of the engines and the applause of the spectators. Included in the pulls was a Woman’s Open. The crowds came alive as they watched the novice females doing pulls that surpassed all other distances of the evening.
The pickup pulls will be in Skowhegan again this weekend starting at 6:30 p.m.
