To the editor:
Many individuals of your community know me either in person or through the newspaper article from last October. In this letter I want to thank you officially for your interest in my situation. All the requests and conversations were very supportive and strengthened my morale during the most difficult time of my life. Well, I did not find legal advice so far, but I found a lot of supportive individuals, who helped me to finance a short trip to Europe to take care of all the new challenges, which have occurred while I was waiting for the decision of my visa, especially the fact, that my Austrian passport had expired in the meantime.
And now, that I was one step ahead of gaining control about my life, I have to start all over again. What has happened?
The airline, from which I was holding a return ticket did let me board the aircraft in December without any valid ID to travel to a third country (Germany). Last Friday, when I wanted to return to the United States, the same airline did not let me board the aircraft, although I am holding three valid IDs now — one of each country.
So, being broke now, the only thing that I can do is to thank you all from the depth of my heart for all your loving support to survive. I instantly hope that I can return some day, so that I can physically hug all my friends and acquaintances.
May God bless you all!
