Quint – Blackwood

 Image   JONESPORT — Crystal Marie Swimm-Quint and Erick Blackwood were united in marriage on June 23, 2007 at the Houlton Wesleyan Church with Gary Wilson officiating. A reception followed at the Houlton Lodge of Elks.     Matron of honor was Faye Mack. Bridesmaids were Jamie Nightingale of New Limerick, cousin of the bride; Brigette Beal and Christy Kilton, both of Jonesport and friends of the bride; and Shanna Vincent of Ellsworth, sister of the groom.
    Best man was Nate Alley of Jonesport, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Chris Quint, brother of the bride; Ira Kelley of Jonesport, friend of the groom; Brent Davis and Shane Alley, friends of the groom and both of Beals Island.
    Flower girls were Thea Quint of Biddeford, niece of the bride, and Emma Vincent, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Zach Vincent, nephew of the groom.
     Crystal, the daughter of Galen and Jill Quint of Hodgdon, attended Hodgdon High School, Wheelock College in Boston and the University of Southern Maine in Portland. She has earned a degree in sociology and currently works as an Ed Tech 3 at Beals Elementary.
    Erick is the son of Bush and Pam Taylor of Beals Island and William and Jane Blackwood of Jonesport. A graduate of Jonesport/Beals High School, he works as a self-employed fisherman who owns and operates Osmond’s Boat Shop.
    The couple reside in Jonesport.
