PRESQUE ISLE — Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) Vice President and Academic Dean Alan Punches has announced the dean’s list for the college’s 2007 fall semester.
One hundred and seventy-eight full-time students achieved a 3.2 average or better; 31 of these students were named to high honors with a grade point average of 3.85 or better, and 15 students had the distinction of earning a perfect 4.0.
“We are proud of the accomplishments of these students,” said Punches. “In many cases, they are working, meeting family obligations and engaged in community activities, but they still distinguish themselves in their studies. We commend them.”
Those named to the NMCC high honors list include: Jodi Tash of Hodgdon and Heidi S. Warman of Linneus. Others named to the dean’s list include: Joshua J. Michaud of Blaine, Brock M. Kingsbury of Bridgewater, Christina M. Merrill of Cary Plantation, Matthew J. Tribou of Hodgdon, Mark Goodale of Littleton, Curtis W. Harrison of New Limerick, Jeremy W. Boutilier of Oakfield, Henry A. Rauschnot of Patten, Casey M. Savage and Christopher T. Sides, both of Sherman and Andrew J. McCluskey of Smyrna.
Also on the dean’s list are: Lynn Jewell, Eric Mailman, Jillian Miller, Jane Moody, Lindsay Stewart and Damon Stone, all of Houlton; Jerica O’Bar and Alison M. Willette, both of Linneus.
WATERVILLE — Maxwell Rush of Houlton, Michael Flewelling of Monticello, Ashlee McClure of Houlton and Brittany Hill of Houlton have been accepted to Thomas College starting September 2008.
Rush is the son of Matthew and Alane Rush. He plans to major in Political Science/Government with a Concentration in American Studies. Flewelling is the son of Ronald Flewelling Jr. and Paula Flewelling. He plans to major in Psychology. McClure is the daughter of Larry and Michelle McClure. She plans to major in Elementary Education. Hill is the daughter of Cory and Teresa Hill. She plans to major in Elementary Education.
WATERVILLE — The following Thomas College students were named to the dean’s list in the day division for the fall 2007 semester.
They include: Brandi Violette of Benedicta, Samantha Boyce of Bridgewater, Cassandra Merritt of Houlton, Tim Hartin of Island Falls, Samantha Boyce of Bridgewater and Paul Lovett Jr. of Stacyville.
