HOULTON, Maine — A special showing of the “History of Houlton” DVD is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 21 at 6 and 7:30 p.m. at Temple Theater.
Admission to the show is $1, and all proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Southern Aroostook Historical and Art Museum of Houlton. Before and after the showings, Mike Fawcett, who set the history to video, will be available to autograph personal copies.
Copies of the Houlton DVD will be on sale at the event; the cost is $20 each.
Gregg Swallow, a member of the committee that produced the video, said last week they’ve already sold out of the first 1,000 copies ordered. A second batch of 1,000 has been ordered and copies are available for purchase.
