Ashlee McClure, daughter of Larry and Michelle McClure of Houlton has been named the DAR Good Citizen Candidate from Houlton High School. McClure was nominated by the faculty and selected by members of the senior class. She will be entered in the DAR Good Citizen Scholarship Contest.
McClure was selected on the basis of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
The opportunity to participate in the DAR Good Citizen Program and Scholarship Contest is extended by Katahdin Valley — Lydia Putnam Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
