DANFORTH – Dorothy I. (Curran) Bonner, 91, wife of the late Edward A. Bonner, passed away Sept. 22, 2007, at a Houlton healthcare facility. Born May 13, 1916 in Danforth, she was the daughter of Thomas Curran and Violet (Nesbitt) Cleary.
Mrs. Bonner was a member of Non Pareil Chapter #92, OES and a former member of the West Danforth Extension. She is survived by a son, Edward Thomas Bonner and his wife, Gertrude; a son-in-law, Joseph Plotegher; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Pat Plotegher and a great-grandson, Bobby Saluti.
Dorothy’s family wishes to thank each and every one at Gardiner Health Care Facility for the loving care given to her. Friends may called from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
