Food drive
The Central Aroostook High School held a food drive to benefit the Mars Hill Community Cupboard. Under the leadership of the Trust Team, each homeroom class at CAHS brought in non-perishables each day from Nov. 13-16.
Trust Team members went to each classroom in the morning to collect and tally the items brought that day. The homeroom with the largest number of items collected was rewarded with a breakfast prepared by Mr. Grass and other staff members. Last year’s homeroom winners were very pleased with the breakfast.
This is a very difficult time of year for food pantries to stock their shelves. The students of CAHS are to be commended for their willingness to help the community in this manner.
