Staffers join credit union ranks

FORT KENT — Acadia Federal Credit union, with a branch office in Ashland, has announced two staffing changes.

Brian Stoliker has accepted the position of commercial loan manager.  He has held the position of loan manager at the Fort Kent branch since 2007, SH BUSTOLIKER 39 15987591 and joined the Acadia family with 10 years of lending and management experience from another financial institution.
“In my new position, I will be able to concentrate on and devote more time to developing our commercial loan portfolio, seeking new commercial relationships and growing the credit union. I look forward to working more closely with our commercial members and helping them with their financial needs,” said Stoliker.
A Valley native, Stoliker graduated from Fort Kent Community High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s of science in business from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He is also a designated CUNA Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE). He has a total of 18 years of direct credit union experience.
Stoliker resides in Madawaska with his wife, Christine. He has two stepdaughters, Emily and Elizabeth, and two sons, Tyler and Brent. He has been part of the Madawaska Fire Department for 25 years and works part-time for the Madawaska Ambulance Service.
Additionally, Alison Voisine stepped into the position of marketing manager on Sept. 14 and will work out of the Fort Kent office, SH BUVOISINE 39 15987593 serving all five branches in northern Aroostook County.
Voisine will coordinate the marketing efforts for the credit union’s products and services, in addition to handling the institution’s advertising and public relations endeavors.
“I have been a member of this credit union since I opened my first checking account in 1987 and have had only positive encounters here. I feel that my first-hand experience as a member, along with my confidence in Acadia’s products and services, and background in advertising and design makes me uniquely suited for this position,” she said.
Voisine joins the Acadia family after five years with the St. John Valley Times, where she served as print shop director and creative manager. Both positions had major graphic design, advertising and customer service elements, and these skills will carry over into her new position as marketing manager.
Voisine resides in Fort Kent and has 15 years of experience as a portrait photographer and enjoys macro photography in her free time. She has one son, Jeremy, who attends the University of Maine at Orono and majors in electrical engineering.
