    OXFORD, NY & EASTON, ME – Verlie Langley Larsen, 88, of Oxford, NY (formerly of Easton, ME) passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 6, 2015, at Valley View Manor Nursing Home, Norwich, NY.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas H. Larsen; her parents, Elwin and Nettie Langley; her brother, Aubrey; and sister-in-law, Hilda Langley.
    Verlie is survived by her daughter, Carmen Larsen Baier of Oxford, NY; her son, Jeffrey Larsen of Easton, ME; her sisters- and brothers-in-law, Norma (Langley) and Robert Dinsmore of Charlotte, NC,  Ardis (Langley) and Charlie Peebles of Castorland, NY; her grandchildren, Aaron (and Maria) Baier and Cale Baier; and many nieces and nephews.
    Verlie was a longtime resident of Easton, ME, and more recently joined her daughter and family in Oxford, NY. She loved and was loved by her family and friends. She said just recently “that it has been a great life with her family and many friends”. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
    The family wishes to thank the staff at Valley View Manor Nursing Home for their compassion and care during her stay there.
