PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – The Opportunity Training Center, a special purpose private school in Presque Isle, has been recognized as a NASET School of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers. This prestigious distinction reflects the rigorous professional standards and outstanding commitment OTC has demonstrated in the field of special education. Notably, OTC is the only school in Maine to receive this honor.
OTC is a K–12 Department of Education-certified program specifically designed to support students with moderate to severe disabilities. Each student receives an individualized educational experience, with opportunities to earn credit and graduate with a diploma or certificate of completion from their sending school district.
