PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – The University of Maine at Presque Isle presents the award-winning members of Trio JIM — John Newell on piano, Ina Litera on viola and Matt Goeke on cello — for an afternoon performance of both original and classic works at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at UMPI’s Gauvin Family Center for Cultural Arts in Wieden Hall.
The performance will feature works by Beethoven, Frank Bridge, F.A. Hoffmeister, and G.F. Handel, as well as the Maine premiere of Trio by Gerald Cohen and the world premiere of Scenes from Here and There by John Newell. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
