3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, May 21 – Friday, May 23
Low pressure will move away to the east while high pressure builds down from the north. Some low-level moisture about 2-5K feet aloft will keep a mix of clouds and sun across the Valley today and partly cloudy skies for the St. John Valley tonight. Some sheltered/low-lying areas may see enough clearing for patchy frost; however, any that occurs is expected to be localized rather than widespread.
High pressure will drift towards Labrador Thursday with partly sunny skies to start the day. Low pressure over the Southeast US will track off the Atlantic coast and move northwards bringing increasing clouds as the day progresses. Mostly cloudy skies Thursday night with increasing chances of rain are expected as the low heads towards coastal Maine. Rain is likely Friday as the low moves quite slowly along the coast towards New Brunswick over the course of the day.

Showers linger into Sunday as wrap-around moisture from the departing low circulates over the SJV. Some scattered showers remain possible Sunday night with skies becoming partly cloudy.
High pressure builds in Memorial Day with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures for most of the Valley. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected Monday night and Tuesday as high pressure crosses the region and moves east.
