CARIBOU, Maine – Pines Health Services is pleased to announce that Michael Springer, MD, has joined its team and will be providing primary care services at the Presque Isle Health Center.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Springer to the Pines medical team,” said Traci Rogers, RN, chief nursing and operating officer at Pines. “As a new physician, he brings clinical knowledge and a strong dedication to patient care that will benefit our community.”
Dr. Springer earned his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Springer is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities. He has conducted research on disaster response and its impact on people with disabilities and has worked alongside federal policymakers to support disability rights and initiatives.
His commitment to community service includes volunteering to provide free physical exams and health education to veterans. Outside of medicine, Dr. Springer enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including rock climbing, camping, backpacking and skiing.
