Registration for the 92nd year of summer fun and Christian camping experiences at Baptist Park has opened.
The park will offer many activities for youth ages 4-18, families and adults of all ages. The largest program is the day and overnight camping. Day camping will be available for two age groups: Puddle Jumpers, ages 4-6, and Growing Up Adventures, ages 6-8.
Weeklong overnight camping will consist of three age groups: Mountain Climbers, ages, 9-11; Outdoor Adventure, ages 13-18; and Maxed Out Adventure, ages 11-14.
Other activities and events will be held at Baptist Park this summer. Bike tune-up clinics will be held each Monday by appointment. The clinic helps repair bicycles and also teaches kids how to maintain their bikes.
A special Fourth of July celebration is scheduled. Families are invited to come in the afternoon for swimming and camping activities followed by a barbecue at 4 p.m., a praise and worship service at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.
Worship will be held on each Sunday evening in July. These four special services will focus on the theme of the miracles of Jesus.
A Christian life conference is scheduled for Saturday, July 26th from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the theme of influence.

The most unique camp is Baptist Park’s Flight Camp for youth ages 14-18. This camp offers an introduction to aviation with a Christian emphasis. Campers learn about the fundamentals of flight and will take actual flights during the week. They will also be introduced to the wide variety of careers in aviation through guest speakers and field trips.
There will be two fun devotional evenings that will consist of dinner followed by an evening of devotions, painting and sipping at the park’s paint and sip sessions. The July 25 session will be for ladies and the July 29 session will be for anyone.
This year Baptist Park will bring back their Labor Day Family Retreat that will start on Friday Aug. 29, evening and run through Monday, Sept. 1.
