PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Veterans, families and caregivers are invited to attend an upcoming informational session at the Aroostook Agency on Aging on a variety of programs available to aging veterans.
Ruth White, manager of service coordination with the Agency, will host staff affiliated with the VA Maine Healthcare System who will discuss available services including geriatrics extended care, caregiver support, personal care services, community adult day care, homemaker home health aid program, in-home respite and veteran-directed care. They will also answer questions that arise during the session.
Preregistration is required for this meeting which takes place Monday, April 7 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Agency’s 260 Main Street office in Presque Isle.
