Public’s help needed in locating woman
FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a local woman.
“The Fort Fairfield Police Department is attempting to locate Amanda Doody. We are looking to make contact with her to check on her well being,” said Sgt. Shawn Newell, of the FFPD.
Doody, 29, is described as being approximately 5-foot 5-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
“Anyone with information on her whereabouts, please call the FFPD at 472-3808,” Newell said.
Newell indicated Doody was last seen by loved ones several weeks ago but hasn’t been heard from since then. When asked if there might be a connection to the woman’s body that was found Sunday morning at Tinker Dam in New Brunswick, Newell said there was not.
