The Mapleton Daze Committee, sponsor of the Mapleton pageants, invites young girls and women to register for the 2025 pageants. A meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the West Chapman Advent Church (2 miles out on the West Chapman Road by the post office), at which information will be shared and any questions will be answered.
If you know someone who might be interested in competing for Little Miss Mapleton, Pre-Teen Miss Mapleton, Teen Miss Mapleton, Junior Miss Mapleton or Miss Mapleton, spread the word. If you cannot make the meeting on Feb. 23rd, reach out to Kim Guerrette Michaud.
The pageants will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Mapleton Elementary School. Tickets: $8 in advance from one of the contestants or $10 at the door the afternoon of the event.
Spring Craft Fair
The Mapleton Daze Committee invites everyone to their annual Spring Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19 at Mapleton Elementary School.
Local crafters and vendors invited all to browse the cafeteria, gym and hallways for gifts and other items just in time for Easter, spring and Mother’s Day.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pictures with the little ones. Please consider bringing some school supplies to donate to the school, Pens, paper, crayons, folders, etc. are all greatly appreciated.
Slots are currently full for crafters/vendors. If you would like to be put on a waiting list, contact Laurie Boucher or our Mapleton Daze Facebook page only. If you see another name that says there are openings, please do not respond because these are scammers.
Breakfast
The Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club is now grooming trails. Please be careful, as we still need a little more snow. Call Mickey Maynard at 764-1236 if you have any questions.
Suzie Johnson will be offering breakfast and lunch at the clubhouse on Saturday, March 8, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please come and support her efforts.
