    PRESQUE ISLE – Anne Christine Allen, 83, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Presque Isle Nursing Home. She was born in Oakbay, NB, the daughter of Hugh and Doris (Christie) Leland and step-father, Carl Grant.
    Christine will be remembered for her love of the Boston Red Sox, knitting, square dancing and bowling. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion Auxillary.
    Christine is survived by her sons and their spouses: Carl and Vickie Allen, Frank and Terrie Allen, and David and Linda Allen; her grandchildren: Dena, Emily, Lucy, Craig, Carmen, Josh and Danielle; her great-grandchildren: Mark, Mike, Jeffery, Cody, Cali, Jack and Levi.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Allen; her parents, Doris and Hugh Leland; and step-father, Carl Grant.
    Family and friends called on Sunday, October 19, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at Duncan Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where a funeral was held on Monday, October 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. Interment was held at Fairmount Cemetery, and a reception followed at the funeral home.
