    BURGHER, Norman Dale, 80, MARS HILL, October 14, 2014. There will be a private graveside service held for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    MARS HILL – Norman Dale Burgher passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2014. He was born February 4, 1934, in Winchester, Kentucky, the son of Lester Burgher and Bernie (Bush) Deuery. He was a husband, Father, Airman, Firefighter and a Jack of all trades.
    He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Caldwell); daughters and families: Lynda and Kevin Smart of South Paris, Joyce and Randy Harper of Presque Isle, and Deanna and Keith Cuomo of New Jersey.
    “Burgher” has left to his family a legacy of independence, strong work ethic and abiding love extending unto his grand- and great-grandchildren. When properly primed, his humor and capacity to clarify ideas and truths provided many powerful and colorful memories.
