     SHAW, Dorothy Marion (Dyer), 88, PRESQUE ISLE, October 3, 2014. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Dorothy Marion (Dyer) Shaw, born October 11, 1925, died October 3, 2014. She was the daughter of Alton and Eunice (Mooers) Dyer of Presque Isle.
    Dorothy lived in Presque Isle where she raised her family of five children. She and her husband, John, were the proud owners of Shaw Minnko Inc. for over 35 years. She was a fixture at all Wildcat sporting events and will be missed by family, friends and her fellow sports fans.
    She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Karen; two sons, Barry and his wife, Raylene, and James and his wife, Linda; two daughters, Susan and her husband, John Johnston, and Kristi and her husband, Robb Kingsbury. She was the loving grandmother of Tiffany and Carl Bindoo, Chad Shaw, Samantha and Jeff Gardner, Amanda Shaw, Vanessa Shaw, Josh, Irene and Jeff Prager, April Kouhoupt, Jennifer and Derek Carlow, Jami and Travis Blair, Travis Shaw, Casey Carson, Joshua Johnston, Shawn and Tiffany Johnston, Robb Johnston, Adam Kingsbury and Amanda, Dillon Kingsbury, Krystal Kingsbury and Molly Kingsbury; great-grandmother of Harrison, Portia, Victoria, Sidney, Taylor, Chloe, Wyatt, Warren, Cailyn, Lily, Emma, Ryan, Brenna, Annie, Cody, Chandler, Gavin, Emma, Maddy and Laynee. She is also survived by one sister, Arlene Weeks of New Hampshire; one brother, Ralph Dyer of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin, Jim Nevers.
    Predeceased by her parents; husband, John; son, Allan; sisters, Majorie Gettinger, and Ruth Marzulli and husband, John; sister-in-law, Louise Dyer; brother-in-law, Lew Weeks; and cousin, Sheila Shaw.
    Viewing hours were held Mon., Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m., at Duncan Graves Funeral Home. A service honoring Dorothy’s life was held Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m., at Bethany Baptist Church, 24 Second St., Presque Isle. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in Dorothy’s name to the Allan R. Shaw Scholarship Fund, c/o Tiffany Shaw Bindoo, 2140 Hyde St., San Francisco, CA 94109.
