PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – This holiday season, UScellular is giving back to the Presque Isle community by donating $5,000 worth of art supplies to Wintergreen Arts Center to support its mission of stimulating creativity and curiosity through arts in Aroostook County. Items donated include canvases, construction paper, paint and paintbrushes, markers, chairs, smocks and craft supplies.
As part of UScellular’s “Gift of Connection” program, the donation to Wintergreen Arts Center is one of 50 gifts to non-profits across the country. The company is helping organizations by providing needed supplies in gratitude for their dedication to building connections through art, music and sports in their local communities.

“We’re proud to provide Wintergreen Arts Center with a donation of art supplies as they continue to be a pillar of support for the Presque Isle community,” said Jodi Doughty, store manager at UScellular in Presque Isle. “Giving back is a part of UScellular’s commitment to connect people to what matters most, and we’re honored to give the gift of connection this holiday season.”
“We are extremely grateful for UScellular’s donation of art supplies,” said Gretchen Violette, events coordinator for Wintergreen Arts Center. “The donation allows us to empower youth, adults, and families to connect and express themselves through the arts and creative process.”
UScellular is also inviting community members to participate in the Gift of Connection through a donation drive at select UScellular retail locations. Everyone is encouraged to donate new sports equipment, art supplies, or family board games that will be gifted to a local non-profit.
