PRESQUE ISLE — The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a business after hours gathering on Friday, Oct. 3.
The event will be from 4-6 p.m. at Copper’s Lounge at the Northeastland Hotel on Main Street.
“There will be appetizers and drink specials for Chamber members,” said Lynne Frederick, CACC executive assistant.

Theresa Fowler, CACC executive director, recently indicated she’d like to see some type of social organization established that local businesspeople and others in the community could use as a way to connect with others in the region.
“Momentum Aroostook once served that purpose but it had an age limit. Between members marrying, having children and aging beyond the organization’s guidelines, that group gradually disappeared. I’d like to see something established that brings people of all ages together, where they can share ideas and interests in a friendly atmosphere — similar to what Momentum did,” said Fowler.
This upcoming Chamber event is expected to be such a gathering.
“This will be a great opportunity to connect and network with old friends and new ones too. Hope to see you there,” said Frederick.
