      LAVAWAY, Vivian L., 69, PRESQUE ISLE, July 20, 2014. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Vivian L. Lavaway, 69, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014, with her family by her side at her home in Presque Isle. Vivian was born in Windsor Locks, CT, the daughter of Ronald and Rose Walters.
    Vivian will always be remembered for her smile and her sense of humor; she was a wonderful, caring, strong woman. She was always worried about everyone else before herself. She will be loved forever and will greatly be missed by all. She was taken from us too soon, but we know that one day we will be a family again. We love you forever and a day to the moon and back!
    She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dana Lavaway; her children: Kerrie Moores and her fiancé, Ralph Smard Jr. of Bangor, Michelle Lavaway-Wilcox of Colden, NY, her daughter, Nicole Will, and her son, Michael; grandchildren, Denise Lavaway and her boyfriend, Nate Tarbox, Josalyn Wark, Madyson Wark, and Seth Palmer; her sisters, Joan Davidson and Shirley Genis of Duluth, GA. She will also be missed by many more who called her “MiMi”.
    Vivian was predeceased by her parents.
    Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood.
