Washburn – Lawrence Boyce 77, died September 27, 2007 at a Caribou hospital following a long illness. He was born January 15, 1930 in Wade the son of Ernest and Eleanor (Curtis) Boyce.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life time member of the V.F.W., the American Legion and the D.A.V.
He is survived by two sons Larry and Mark Boyce both of Oakfield; a daughter Susan Cormier and her husband Fred of Van Buren; 2 grandchildren Jason and Jessica Cormier of Van Buren; a brother Wesley Boyce and his wife Marion of Washburn; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, cousins including a special cousin, Frederick Curtis. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Boyce.
Funeral services were conducted 2:00 PM Monday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle with the Rev. Earl Durost officiating. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Interment in the Riverside Extention Cemetery in Washburn.
