    PORTAGE & PRESQUE ISLE – Dana Eugene Beaulieu, 61, lost his battle to cancer May 5, 2014, at The Aroostook Medical Center, surrounded by family. Dana was born on May 6, 1952, in Presque Isle. 
    Dana graduated from Presque Isle High School Class of 1970. He was a member of the National Guard A Battery 152nd Artillery. Dana drove truck over the road for over 40 years and had many trucks of his own. He loved meeting new people over the road. A member of the Presque Elks Club#1954 for 23 years and also a member of the Portage Lakers Snowmobile Club. More than anything Dana enjoyed spending time with friends and family and traveling to his favorite island St. Maarten.
    Dana is survived by his loving wife, Denise Beaulieu of Portage; daughters: Raquel Beaulieu of Presque Isle, Danna Beaulieu of Mapleton, Amanda Lynds and special friend, Adam Kingsbury of Presque Isle, and Chelsea Lynds-Beaulieu of Portage; brothers: Douglas and Bonnie Beaulieu of Washburn, and Brian Beaulieu of Bangor; two granddaughters: Victoria and Sydney Beaulieu of Mapleton; along with aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew; special friends, Ronnie Clifford, Morris Wood, The Carlisle Family, and all of his Portage family.
    He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Gertrude Beaulieu of Mapleton.
    A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Dean’s Motor Lodge in Portage from 2 to 4 p.m. Memories and condolences may be offered to the family at www.directcremationofmaine.com and www.ripostafh.com.
