USM recognizes scholarship students
The following USM students were awarded scholarships for 2007-2008 academic year. The University of Southern Maine serves some 10,500 students with campuses in Portland, Gorham and Lewiston-Auburn. Students recognized include: • Mapleton – Kimberly M. Lopez, a social work and education major, received the Alice E. Toothaker Scholarship. Lopez is a 2002 graduate of Presque Isle High School and the daughter of Richard and Debbie Lopez, of Mapleton.
• Presque Isle – Brianna J. Blanchard, a psychosocial rehabilitation counseling student, was awarded a USM College of Education and Human Development Clinical Fellows Scholarship. Blanchard is a graduate of Presque Isle High School. She is the daughter of Anne and Brian Blanchard, of Fort Fairfield.
