Caribou Choral Society to begin rehearsals

    CARIBOU — The Caribou Choral Society will begin rehearsals for its holiday concerts on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Mormon Church recreation room, 67 Paris Snow Drive, in Caribou.     All residents interested in singing advanced four-part music are cordially invited to join this area-wide community chorus. There is always a need for more male singers, so tenors and basses are especially encouraged to join. No auditions are required.
    Due are $10 to help defray costs of new sheet music.
    Concerts are scheduled for Dec. 2 at St. Louis Church in Fort Kent, Dec. 8 at the Caribou Performing Arts Center, and Dec. 9 at St. Mary’s Church in Presque Isle.
    The chorus is conducted by Daniel Ladner, with Mari-Jo Hedman as accompanist.
